The Mobius Project is a living laboratory of continuous learning for all ages. Twenty four teachers, students, parents and administrators from public and private schools in five states proposed a "New American School" as part of America 2000. The learning habitat is an environment where businesses and schools redefine their boundaries so that both can accomplish their missions more effectively. We use technology as a vehicle for building the business- school collaboration, the learning organizations, the effective communities of the future.
In The Fifth Discipline, The Art and Practice of a Learning Organization, Peter Senge describes the method he and his colleagues at MIT have used for many years to help management restructure major corporations. When deployed in major corporations such as in Hanover Insurance Companies and Royal Dutch/Shell, the disciplines have proven a successful method for both increasing profitability and creating a more humane working environment.
